What is the importance of deadlines? How do high school deadlines reflect or simulate "real world" experience? Give an example of when you met or or didn't meet a deadline that was important.

Deadlines are important because if there were not any deadlines no one would do them. Homework reflects a "real world experience"; when you miss the deadline for your homework, your grade goes down, in the real world if you miss a deadline you will probably be fired. I missed a deadline for a project last year, and my grade went down.
